It is important before you choose a Tipster service that you take a few things into consideration. A tipster service it not just a tipster service, and one tipsters betting system might be very different from another tipsters “betting tips” system.

Wide/Deep markets.
The Betting markets are not equal. I know the numbers might seem a little off.. especially to those who have spend month after month trying to build their followers on Twitter. BUT….

Google+ is a totally new kind of Social Media.. I know it might seem the same to some point, but the opportunities there are unlimited.

I know that most people knows a lot about Social Media and that there are a lot of guides, blogs etc on that specific topic, so I chose to write about that people already are doing and how to get the most out of it.

Stop and think (before posting)

One of the most powerful things you can do is posting a comment on someone else’s work. People love to read comments on the content that they have put hours into publishing. But don’t let you comment fall into the “Nice post” or “wow.. You got a point” category, those kinds of comments won’t get a second look by the author nor other readers.

Try to make your comment the center of attention. Make it special and make it worth reading. Are you able to contribute anything on this topic? Do you feel like the author has left something out? Thinking like that gets you into a debate with other readers as well as the author and that’s how you get the attention that you want. It also increases your chances of getting new followers and people looking you and your website up.

After the blog was published it was tweeted to over 1. million Twitter profiles and to my big surprise my blog post was not only posted on thecatalystpartnership it was also republished on socialmediatoday.com. On SocialMediatoday it was shared 87 times, liked 4 times and tweeted 83 times.

I was also asked if I would allow a Russian translation of the blog post.

New Goal

After this experience I have a new goal that I have to achieve. Since I don’t have 1.000 follower anywhere It seems wrong to make a post by that name. So I have to get at least 1.000 to circlet me on google+ within 2 months to support my statement in the blog post.

A little update on that note:

I started to build up the “followers” the 15. February 2012

Only 18 had added me to there circles. today 3½ days later I have been circled by 260 people. So it seems more then possible.

My first time guest blogging was a huge personal success. Stay turned for updates on my new goal -getting 1.000 people circling me within 2 months.

It is a constant battle to be on top of the game and driving people to your blog. Make sure that you don’t miss some of the most basic stuff that could make a huge difference on the number of readers and followers you are getting.

When you have written the content you wish to drive traffic to there are a few things that you should be aware of.

Picture in the top

Just like I have put a picture in the top of this post so should you! The picture or illustration is helping your title to capture your readers’ attention. This image will also appear when you are sharing you post on Google+.

A lot of the time it is the picture that catches the reader’s attention and the Title will sell the content. Even though the picture catches the reader’s eye you should still make sure the picture matches the topic.

The picture also makes your post more graphic and can help you make a point.

Titles are important

Honestly, how long time do you use on writing the content? – And how long do you spend coming up with the title?

The title is the power of it all. If the title doesn’t sell the content then nobody will read it. It is that simple.

Share it!

By sharing your content on Twitter, google+, Facebook and on other Social networks you are making sure that your friends and followers gets the change to notice that new content are ready to be read.

Don’t think for a minute that you don’t have to promote the content! It is vital that you take steps after posting it to drive traffic to your site.

By posting it on social networks you are also giving your content the chance of getting +1 and likes wish could get you even more traffic.

But why stop there? Why not add a Like button, a tweet this and +1 button?

It is important that you place these buttons so they are visible to the reader so you get as many clicks on them as possible.

These small steps might seem like ABC stuff.. But a lot of writers forget the basics from time to time.
